The City of Tualatin serves more than 26,000 people every day, purchasing water from the City of Portland.
The water purchased from the City of Portland comes from the Bull Run Reservoir, which is located 30 miles outside of Portland and is delivered via gravity feed. During summer months and emergency situations, the City of Portland uses water from the Columbia Southshore Well Field to augment supplies from Bull Run.
